Dr. Sherian McCoy brings together more than 30 years of experience in education, natural health, ministry, mentoring, and the lived experience of navigating chronic illness.
Her own health journey led her to functional traditional naturopathic medicine and gave her a deep appreciation for looking beyond isolated symptoms to understand the whole person. Today, she helps men and women navigate metabolic dysfunction and weight resistance, emotional health concerns, and selected complex conditions, including EBV, Lyme disease, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and certain cancer-related concerns.
Sherian’s approach is personal, practical, and rooted in the belief that physical, emotional, and spiritual health are deeply connected. She takes time to listen, explain the why behind her recommendations, and help clients better understand their bodies and the factors that may be influencing their health.
As an ordained minister and pastoral counselor with a B.S. in Biblical Studies and Music Education, Sherian also offers biblical encouragement and faith-centered support for clients who desire it. Her goal is not to hand someone a one-size-fits-all protocol, but to educate, encourage, and equip each person to make informed, sustainable decisions about their health.
She believes we are layered, whole, and created with intention — and our care should reflect that.
Her favorite encouragement is, “Don’t leave until you get everything you need from Jesus.”

Selah is Dr. Sherian McCoy’s practice. Dr. Sherian occasionally refers pregnancy-related or other appropriate cases to Dr. Carrie Martin-Vegue, but Selah’s care is centered on Dr. Sherian.
